Turning our town orange

We did it! Massive thanks again to MSL Hire for helping us to turn Oldham orange in support of kidney cancer awareness.
It's that time of year again — time for Keepin' It Renal, where we celebrate Ricky's birthday and kick off three weeks of fundraising to support RMC and Rare Renal Cancers.
This year we are lighting up Oldham, turning Oldham Sports Centre, Oldham Parish Church and Oldham Civic Centre orange to raise awareness. We'd like to send a massive thank you to Aaron at MSL Hire for sponsoring this event and making it possible.
As it would have been Ricky's 53rd birthday this year, our challenges look like this: 5.3km, 53km, 5.3 miles, or 53 miles (the big one!). It's up to you to decide how you want to cover the distances — run, walk or cycle, all in one go or bit by bit. You can even come up with your own challenge — just let us know your plans.
All we ask is that you register for the event and pay £15 to receive your T-shirt. A big thank you to all of the local businesses and clubs that have sponsored the T-shirts: Leads2Trade, Pro Fit Tyres Northwest, Springhead AFC, Delete-A-Dent, Bin and Collected Recycling, The Veg Lord, and Hair at Bespoke.
Finally, on 25th March 2023 we will bring the event to a close with a 5.3km beer walk. The only rule we have is that you must be wearing your 2023 Keepin' It Renal T-shirt to take part.

Can you help us?
We rely on your donations to continue our important work, and we welcome any offers of your valuable time.
If you are a medical professional and feel that you can help us — or that we can help you — with research into rare renal cancers, we would love to hear from you.
