The Show Must Go On… to raise over £12,000!

The Ricky Casey Trust would like to say a big thank you to everyone who contributed to the 2024 edition of our annual ball — this year themed around Queen — which proved to be a huge success, raising more than £12,000 for our continuing work into Renal Medullary Carcinoma (RMC).

We continue to be blown away with a sell-out event each year. It's such a lovely opportunity to come together and share the story and the success of what the charity continues to achieve. The room again was full of love and support.

Nicola and Grace again worked around the clock to decorate the room and pull this event together, and then managed to glam themselves up. The room looked fabulous as always!

We'd like to extend a special thanks to: Project2, our sponsor for the evening; Alan Keegan (the voice of Old Trafford) for being a fantastic host again; Neil Aylett for lighting and sound, and for always going the extra mile for us; and Killer Queen for entertaining us and filling the dancefloor.

Also a big thanks to 360EventSnap, Ben Erlam for taking photos of the evening, Printright Oldham, and PSP Meesons Cards, Gifts & Party Store.

Special thanks to our Patron Jamie Jones-Buchanan and trustee Lee McAllister for your amazing speech, and to David Hammond for sharing his journey around his diagnosis of RMC — you were truly inspirational.

Thank you to Smokies Park for having us again and helping with the smooth running of the evening.

And finally, a huge thank you to everyone who donated raffle and auction prizes 🙏🧡. We couldn't raise these funds without the generosity of the many local businesses and individuals who gave so generously.
