Sir Kevin ready to run again for Ricky

Following on from his mammoth seven marathons in seven days challenge, where he raised more than £2 million in support of MNDA and his close friend Rob Burrow, super Kevin Sinfield is readying his running shoes in support of The Ricky Casey Trust.

Joining in with our Keepin' It Renal event beginning on the 6th of March, patron Kevin is aiming to run 51 miles in 21 days — a feat which should be a nice break from his 26.2-mile days back in December.

In a tweet, Kevin said: “I'm proud to be taking part in another running challenge in March, and it's for the Ricky Casey Trust. Keepin' It Renal is a walk, run, or cycle event, raising awareness and funds for Renal Medullary Carcinoma. There is something for everyone, so please support and get involved. Let's get movin!”

You can read more about Kevin's plans in articles from the Oldham Evening Chronicle and the Saddleworth Independent.
