Oldham to Wembley is over!

Oldham to Wembley is over!

And what an incredible nine days it was. Lee McAllister — friend and trustee — with friend Glyn Billington, both close friends of Ricky's, took on an amazing challenge and walked over 231 miles to raise funds; but most importantly to raise awareness for Renal Medullary Carcinoma across the country.

We would like to thank you the public for supporting the lads throughout the challenge and the continued support for the charity. The acts of kindness that were shown during the week were incredibly humbling, and we are all so grateful for all of the donations received and well wishes.

A special thanks firstly goes to the boys Lee and Glyn for taking on and smashing this brutal challenge, raising awareness and funds for us. Andy Revill was driving the support car and was looking after the lads along the way. Thank you, Andy. You did not let them down once, they couldn't have done this without you!

Thank you Dan for doing a five-hour trip to give the lads some physio at the right point of the challenge.

Thanks for all the videos of support from celebrities Kevin Sinfield, Kyle Hogg, Barrie McDermott and D'mani Mellor.

We had some incredible sponsors we would like to thank for helping to make this challenge easier for the lads and us as a charity: Hilton Hotels, Rigg Tech, SJ Signs, Marcus Walker, Berghaus and Regatta.

A big thanks to all the people that joined them at different parts of the walk. You all played a massive part in keeping the boys going.

The lads had a target of £5,000, which they smashed. The funds are still coming in and we currently stand at around £9,400. This has helped us as a charity reach our first milestone: £100,000. This is the first step into making a huge difference for us. We have a long way to go, but with your help we will succeed!

We are incredibly proud and humbled by this and, due to demand and some media coverage due soon, our link remains open for the next couple of weeks. Please keep a lookout!

Please keep supporting us in trying to make a difference.
