Family Funday Success

Our Family Funday took place on 30th July in Springhead in remembrance of Nicola's husband and great friend to many Ricky Casey. There was a football match, bouncy castles, kids corner, face painting, indoor and outdoor bar, food van, raffle and an auction.

Despite the weather on the day it was a fabulous turn out and a great success, raising vital funds for the charity.

We had a special cheque presentation from the Manchester Football League for £300.

A big thank you to DJ Andy Stott who played some great tunes before the live bands.

Thanks to these guys who entertained us all afternoon into the evening: Mark Stelfox followed by Imogen Paige and finishing us off was The Back Up Band.

Thanks to our MC Michael Bradshaw from Sporting Image for running the auction for us.

Thanks to all our local businesses who donated raffle prizes and helped us put on a great day in helping us raise over £4,000.

Finally, a big thanks to Green Watch Chadderton for bringing the fire engine.
