Charity football match held in memory of Leon Talabi
Friends and family of Leon Talabi, who was supported by the Trust and Nicola during his battle with RMC, arranged a five-a-side football tournament in his memory to raise funds. Leon sadly passed away on 18th July 2023.
Leon's brother Brian decided a five-a-side tournament in memory of Leon was a great way for him and friends to pay tribute to him while raising funds for us.
Brian said Leon loved football, as well as flying, running, exploring the world, and basketball.
The “Talaboss Cup” was created after discussion with close friends. On 23rd September they managed to get eight really competitive teams to join them at Trinity Sports Centre in Manchester. Together they raised nearly £500!
